Austin’s Lalanne and Reno’s Ledo added to NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire
NEW YORK – Austin center Cady Lalanne and Reno guard Ricky Ledo will replace Austin’s Orlando Johnson and Reno’s Erick Green on the Western Conference team in the 2016 NBA Development League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. Additionally, Maine’s Omari Johnson has been selected to replace Orlando Johnson in the NBA D-League Three-Point Contest.
The All-Star Game, which tips off at 2 p.m. ET, will air live on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada. The Three-Point Contest takes place prior to the game at 1:30 p.m.
Lalanne (6-9, 242, Massachusetts), a second-round pick of the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 playing in Austin as an NBA Draft Rights Player, is averaging 12.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 26.3 minutes in 29 games. He replaces Orlando Johnson, who earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Phoenix Suns last week and is ineligible to play in the game.
An NBA veteran, Ledo (6-6, 197, Providence) was selected in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and spent the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons as a member of the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks. In 30 games for the Bighorns this season, Ledo is averaging 20.1 points (13th in the NBA D-League), 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 29.9 minutes. He replaces Green, who is ineligible to play in the game due to his status as a member of the Utah Jazz following a GATORADE Call-Up.
Omari Johnson (6-9, 215, Oregon State) will join the six-man field in the Three-Point Contest. He has connected on an NBA D-League best 94 three-pointers (3.1 per game) for the Red Claws this season, shooting 41 percent from long range. In 30 games, he is averaging 15.2 points and 6.4 rebounds.
