“NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad” to premiere on NBA App
NEW YORK – “NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad,” the latest interview series by Emmy® Award-winning executive producer and host Ahmad Rashad, will debut today at 1 p.m. ET on the NBA App when Rashad sits down for an exclusive interview with four-time NBA champion and two-time league MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Each episode, “NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad” will feature a new installment as the longtime host of the iconic series “NBA Inside Stuff” speaks with the league’s biggest stars and legendary figures for an in-depth look at their lives and the game.
On the debut episode, the legendary sportscaster and Curry discuss Curry’s early career challenges, the work the Warriors guard put in to elevate his game, his drive to reach new heights, cementing legacies and more. Future episodes include Basketball Hall of Famers Shaquille O’Neal and Dominique Wilkins. Additional details regarding future episodes will be available at a later date.

A host and commentator for NBC for 20 years, Rashad covered four Olympics and won an Emmy® for his work on the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. He was executive producer, managing editor and host of the award-winning show “NBA Inside Stuff” for 16 seasons. He also hosted Ahmad Inside, a five-part series on ESPN+ with NBA Hall of Famers about the 1980s and 90s era of basketball. In addition to hosting the annual Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony, Rashad currently serves as an NBA ambassador and consultant to the New York Knicks. An All-American at Oregon, Rashad was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and played 10 NFL seasons, including seven in Minnesota, where he earned four Pro Bowl selections, All-Pro honors and Pro Bowl MVP. In 2017, he was enshrined in the Vikings’ “Ring of Honor.”
