NEW YORK – Derrick Favors of the Utah Jazz has been fined $25,000 for throwing a ball into the spectator stands with  24.8 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the Jazz’s 94-91 loss to Dallas on January 19,  it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
