NEW YORK – Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose has been fined $25,000 for throwing a pen across the court and into the spectator stands, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 37.0 seconds remaining in overtime of the Pistons’ 117-110 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Jan. 13 at Little Caesars Arena.
