Warriors’ Festus Ezeli suspended one game
NEW YORK – Golden State Warriors center Festus Ezeli has been suspended one game without pay for initiating an altercation with Toronto Raptors forward-center Tyler Hansbrough by grabbing his throat, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.
The incident, which resulted in an ejection, occurred with 0.4 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the Warriors’ 113-89 victory over the Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
Ezeli will serve his suspension tomorrow when the Warriors travel to Boston to play the Celtics.
