Ignite players to participate in NBA All-Star 2024
HENDERSON, Nev. – Top prospects from NBA G League Ignite are set to compete in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars and NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T at NBA All-Star 2024 in Indianapolis.
On Friday, Feb. 16, four potential 2024 NBA Draft picks – Izan Almansa, Matas Buzelis, Ron Holland and Tyler Smith – will compete in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars, the NBA’s annual showcase of premier young talent. Panini Rising stars features a mini-tournament with four teams playing three games and will air live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on TNT.
The NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18 at G League Park in NBA Crossover at the Indiana Convention Center, tipping off at 10:30 a.m. PT/1:30 p.m. ET. The game will feature 2024 NBA Draft prospects Thierry Darlan, London Johnson and Babacar Sane and 2025 NBA Draft prospect Dink Pate, in addition to Almansa, Buzelis, Holland and Smith.
Ignite players will be drafted onto one of four teams – Team BallisLife, Team Strictly, Team Giraffe Stars and Team EYL, led by its own creator general manager. Team general managers will select from a 28-player field, while the teams will be coached by members of the Indiana Mad Ants staff. Additional information about the Up Next Game is available here.

NBA G League Ignite is a first-of-its-kind team dedicated to developing top young prospects in preparation for the NBA Draft. Based at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev., the roster includes elite players who are eligible for the NBA Draft and players in the early stages of their professional basketball careers as well as NBA and NBA G League veterans who serve as mentors to the team’s young talent. In addition to accelerated on-court development and competing for an NBA G League Championship, the team focuses on life skills training that includes financial literacy education, community service involvement and scholarship opportunities.
