Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo suspended one game
NEW YORK – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been suspended one game without pay for running over Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.
The incident, which resulted in a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejection for Antetokounmpo, occurred with 1:34 remaining in the second quarter of Milwaukee’s 120-66 loss to the Bulls on Thursday, April 30, at Bradley Center. In addition, Dunleavy’s contact, at 11:05 of the first period, to the jaw of Michael Carter-Williams has been upgraded to a Flagrant Foul 1.
Antetokounmpo will be suspended for the first game of the 2015-16 NBA regular season for which he is eligible and physically able to play.
