NEW YORK – Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas has been fined $25,000 for making inappropriate contact with a game official, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident, for which Thomas received a technical foul and was ejected, occurred with 10:32 remaining in the first quarter of the Wizards’ 122-103 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Jan. 3 at Capital One Center.
