Kristin Chenoweth to perform national anthem ahead of NBA Finals Game 7
Grammy Award-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari to perform at halftime
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma native and Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will perform the national anthem ahead of Game 7 of the NBA Finals, featuring the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The performance will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
Additionally, the in-arena audience will be treated to a special halftime performance by Grammy Award-winning violinist and music tech entrepreneur Miri Ben-Ari. Known as “The Hip-Hop Violinist,” Ben-Ari has captivated global audiences worldwide with her innovative blend of classical, hip-hop, and contemporary music.
Chenoweth is also making waves in the world of musical theater with her latest major project: developing and starring in a musical adaptation of the award-winning 2012 documentary, The Queen of Versailles. The production explores the life of beauty queen, socialite and TV personality Jacqueline “Jackie” Siegel. It is slated for its Broadway debut this year.
