NEW YORK – The National Basketball Association game scheduled for this evening between the Orlando Magic and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden has been postponed. The Knicks informed the league that debris fell into the arena during overnight maintenance work and that the arena would remain closed until Madison Square Garden is assured that the arena is safe.

The date for the rescheduled game will be announced at a later time.
