NEW YORK – Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes has been fined $50,000 for directing inappropriate language at a fan, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred during the Clippers’ 115-109 loss to the Houston Rockets on May 6 at Toyota Center.
