NBA All-Star 2020 Friday night delivers strong viewership on TNT and ESPN
CHICAGO – NBA Rising Stars and the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Presented by Ruffles delivered a strong viewership start to NBA All-Star 2020 in Chicago.
TNT’s telecast of 2020 NBA Rising Stars was the most-watched since 2015, with an average of 1.479 million viewers, up 1% vs. last year (1.460 million). The game peaked with an average of 1.6 million viewers from 10:30-10:45 p.m. ET to help deliver TNT the most-viewed sports program of the night. Turner Sports’ TV Everywhere platforms garnered its most live streams on record for a NBA Rising Stars game last night.
ESPN’s coverage of the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Presented by Ruffles averaged 1.45 million viewers, up 9% from last year, and registered a 0.9 U.S. HH rating, up 11%.
