NEW YORK – Forty-six players with NBA Development League experience highlight rosters of the eight teams playing in the 2012 AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League, tipping off in Orlando today.  The event features 20 games played over five days in Orlando.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s summer league roster features 10 players with NBA D-League experience, the most of any NBA team playing in Orlando, while the Indiana Pacers have nine former NBA D-Leaguers on their summer league squad.  Each of the other five NBA teams playing in Orlando has at least one player with NBA D-League experience on their summer league team.

Brooklyn Nets forward Julian Wright, a 2012 NBA D-League champion with the Austin Toros, headlines the list of players with NBA D-League experience.  Wright, who was the 13^th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, appeared in 16 regular season games with the Toros and averaged 15.1 points and 8.0 rebounds.  In nine playoff games, including three NBA D-League Finals games, Wright averaged 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds.

Edwin Ubiles, the NBA D-League’s 2012 Rookie of the Year, joins Wright on the Nets’ roster.  In 41 games for the Dakota Wizards, Ubiles averaged 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists, while earning a GATORADE Call-Up to the Washington Wizards.  In four games with Washington, he averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Ubiles is one of eight players in Orlando who earned GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA during the 2011-12 NBA D-League season. Ubiles’ Nets teammate Jeff Foote, Magic guard Ishmael Smith, Boston’s Sean Williams and Larry Owens, Philadelphia’s Xavier Silas, Utah’s Blake Ahearn and Oklahoma City’s Ryan Reid round out the group.

A number of coaches with NBA D-League experience will also be on benches in Orlando this week, including Tulsa 66ers head coach Dale Osbourne, who will be with the Thunder, and Springfield Armor head coach Bob MacKinnon, who will be working with the Nets.
