NBA TV to televise 21 upcoming NBA G League games

NBA TV will televise 21 upcoming NBA G League games, including a matchup between the Greensboro Swarm vs. Maine Red Claws on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. ET. The network’s season-long schedule will feature an extensive lineup of teams this year including the defending champion Raptors 905 and 2017 runner-up Rio Grande Valley Vipers, as well as the new Lakeland Magic, Memphis Hustle and Wisconsin Herd. The official minor league of the NBA, the NBA G League tipped off its 17th season with a record 26 teams earlier this month.
In addition to its expanded weekly live game coverage, the network will televise six games from the NBA G League Showcase – Wednesday, Jan. 10 through Saturday, Jan. 13 – from Mississauga, Ontario, home of the Raptors 905. The NBA G League Showcase affords players and coaches the opportunity to display their skills in front of general managers and player personnel executives from all 30 NBA teams. This year’s NBA opening-night rosters featured a record 167 players with NBA G League experience, representing 38% of all NBA players.
