Nike named presenting partner of NBA Mexico City Games for second consecutive season
MEXICO CITY – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Nike announced today an expansion of their existing partnership that will make the league’s official oncourt apparel provider the presenting partner of the NBA Mexico City Games for the second consecutive season.
The NBA Mexico City Games 2018 presented by Nike will feature the Orlando Magic playing regular-season games against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Dec. 13, and against the Utah Jazz on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City. The games will mark the third consecutive season the NBA will play two regular-season games in Mexico City as well as the 27th and 28th games in Mexico since 1992, the most NBA games held in any country outside the United States and Canada.

In addition to being the presenting partner of the NBA Mexico City Games 2018, Nike will receive prominent brand exposure, including event logo inclusion, in-arena showroom, and signage.

In Mexico, the NBA Mexico City Games 2018 presented by Nike will be broadcast live on ESPN Mexico and NBA League Pass International. ESPN Mexico will air games on Dec. 13 at 9:30 pm ET (Magic vs. Bulls) and on Dec. 15 at 5 pm ET (Magic vs. Jazz). In the U.S., the Dec. 15 game (Magic vs. Jazz) will air at 5 pm ET on NBA TV.
In 2017, the NBA played four games in Mexico, which marked the first time the league has held four regular-season games in one country outside the U.S. and Canada in one calendar year.
