NEW YORK — Indiana Fever Forward Tamika Catchings has been suspended one game without pay for making contact with a game official, it was announced today by Todd DeMoss, Associate Vice President, WNBA Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 5:54 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Fever’s 77-74 win over the Phoenix Mercury at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on June 12.

Catchings will serve her suspension tomorrow when the Chicago Sky plays the Fever in Indianapolis.
