2015 All-NBA D-League Showcase teams feature top NBA prospects

NEW YORK – Fifteen top NBA prospects were today named to the All-NBA Development League Showcase First, Second, and Third teams, as selected by a panel of NBA scouts and NBA D-League personnel following the 11th annual NBA D-League Showcase presented by Samsung, which took place in Santa Cruz, Calif.  Of the 15, six are current NBA players, including JaMychal Green, James Michael McAdoo and Quincy Miller, who each earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA during the five-day event.

NBA assignees Archie Goodwin (Bakersfield/Phoenix) and Clint Capela (Rio Grande Valley/Houston) headline the All-NBA D-League Showcase First Team and are joined on the five-man squad by Lorenzo Brown (Grand Rapids), Vander Blue (Los Angeles) and Earl Barron (Bakersfield).  Goodwin, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the inaugural Showcase Cup tournament, averaged 24.0 points and 4.0 rebounds for the Jam during the Showcase.

Four of the five members of the All-NBA D-League Showcase Second Team boast NBA experience, including current NBA players McAdoo (Santa Cruz/Golden State) and CJ Wilcox (Fort Wayne/L.A. Clippers).  They are joined by Chris Johnson (Rio Grande Valley) and Arinze Onuaku (Canton), while Bryce Cotton (Austin) looks to break into the NBA following his 40-point outburst against the Charge in Santa Cruz.

Green (Austin/San Antonio) and Miller (Reno/Sacramento) are joined on the All-NBA D-League Showcase Third Team by Andre Dawkins (Sioux Falls), Tim Frazier (Maine) and Willie Reed (Grand Rapids).  Green and Miller each played only one game in the Showcase before earning call-ups to the NBA.

An additional 17 players, 12 of whom have NBA experience, earned Honorable Mention accolades.
