WNBA announces 20 officials selected for 2026 WNBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel
NEW YORK – The WNBA today announced the game officials assigned to the 2026 WNBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel. Postseason action tips off on Sunday, Sept. 27 with games taking place for all four first round series.
Playoffs officials are selected by the WNBA Referee Operations management team based on key criteria assessed throughout the season including: WNBA Referee Operations grades and rankings, play-calling accuracy and team ratings. Officials are evaluated after each playoff round to determine advancement to the next playoff round.
“We are pleased to recognize this group of officials for their on-court achievements and their dedication to their craft with a selection to work the 2026 WNBA Playoffs,” said Bethany Donaphin, Head of WNBA League Operations. “Qualifying for the postseason and serving the game at this important part of the season is a goal for WNBA officials just as it is for players and coaches.”
