Keys’ third studio album, As I Am, was released in the same year and sold five million copies worldwide, earning Keys an additional three Grammy®  Awards. She released her fourth album, The Element of Freedom, in December 2009, which became Keys’ first chart-topping album in the United Kingdom. That same year, Billboard magazine named Keys the top R&B artist of the decade. In 2010, VH1 included Keys on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Keys holds the distinction as the first female R&B artist to have three consecutive #1 album debuts on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Keys’ fifth studio album, Girl on Fire, debuted at number #1 on November 27th to widespread acclaim from the music world and features the new hit urban single, “Brand New Me.” The title track is a global top ten smash, selling more than 3 million single sales worldwide since its release in September 2012, while continuing to climb the top 40 radio charts.

NE-YO (Motown Records) – Grammy Award winner NE-YO is a triple threat — dynamic performer on stage and screen and acclaimed songwriter. Indeed, Ne-Yo has been called one of this millennium’s most talented songwriters, arrangers and vocalists. Since his debut as a solo artist in 2006, NE-YO has released five albums: Grammy-nominated In My Own Words, Grammy-winning Because of You, Grammy-nominated Year of the GentlemanLibra Scale and the November 2012 release of the critically acclaimed, R.E.D. In 2012, NE-YO was inducted into the song writing Hall of Fame as a result of his work with artists such as Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Mario. It’s no surprise that he has sold more than 10 million albums and 23 million singles worldwide. In November 2012, after signing to Motown he was appointed to Senior Vice President of A&R at Motown Records.

John Legend (G.O.O.D. Inspired by the monumental 2008 Presidential election, Legend teamed up with The Roots to release the socially conscious album, Wake Up! (2010).  The album was nominated for five Grammy Awards and won Best R&B Album, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B song (for “Shine” – an original composition also featured in Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim’s documentary film Waiting for Superman) along with two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Album and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration.  In 2007, Legend launched the Show Me Campaign, a nonprofit organization fighting poverty around the world.  John also sits on the Boards of The Education Equality Project, Teach for America, and the Harlem Village Academies. Legend has been honored several times for his activism, including the 2010 BET Humanitarian of the Year award, the 2009 CARE Humanitarian Award for Global Change, and the 2009 Africare’s Bishop John T. Walker Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award.  In early 2012, Legend released one of the hottest singles of his career, the chart-topping hit “Tonight (Best You’ve Ever Had)” featuring Ludacris, which sat atop the Urban AC radio chart for six consecutive weeks. Legend is currently in the studio completing his new album Love in the Future with executive producer Kanye West; the first single, “Who Do We Think We Are,” features Rick Ross and will launch in March 2013.

Ellie Goulding (Cherrytree/Interscope) – Ellie Goulding is an English-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. In 2010, she became the second artist to both top the BBC‘s annual Sound of… poll and win the Critics’ Choice Award at the Brit Awards in the same year, following Adele‘s win of both in 2008. She released her first EP, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding,  in 2009. Goulding released her debut studio album, Lights, in 2010. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and has sold over 850,000 copies in the UK. Her cover of Elton John’s “Your Song” reached number two in the UK in December 2010. In April 2011, she performed the song at the wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Buckingham Palace. The album’s title track, “Lights” was released in March 2011, and reached number one on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, on the Billboard On-Demand chart, and number two on the Billboard Hot 100 nearly a year and a half later during its 33rd week charting, completing one of the longest ever climbs into the top two positions on the chart. The single, which lasted over a year on the Billboard Hot 100, was also certified triple platinum. Goulding’s second album Halcyon was released in October 2012 to generally positive reviews from critics. “Anything Could Happen” preceded the album as the lead single, reaching the top five in the UK as well as the top forty in Belgium, Ireland and New Zealand. “Halcyon” debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and number nine on the Billboard 200 Chart, her first Top 10 debut in the United States. Glouding is wrapping up her North American “Halcyon Days Tour.”

Fall Out Boy – American pop punk band from Wilmette, Ill., formed in 2001. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. The members originally played in local underground hardcore bands before forming Fall Out Boy. With Wentz as the band’s primary lyricist and Stump as the primary composer, Fall Out Boy broke out of the underground music scene and reached mainstream success with its major label album From Under the Cork Tree. Released in 2005 as the follow-up to its 2003 debut Take This to Your Grave, the album won several awards and achieved double platinum status after selling more than 2.5 million albums in the United States, and with top 10 singles “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” and “Dance, Dance.” In 2007, Fall Out Boy released its third album Infinity on High, to major chart success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, with top five chartings worldwide. The group released Folie à Deux in 2008 and further evolved its musical palette. The group announced an indefinite hiatus in late 2009, stating it had not broken up, rather that the members are taking a rest and engaging in various side projects. Stump released a solo album called Soul Punk in 2011, Wentz formed Black Cards, while Hurley and Trohman formed The Damned Things and have since respectively moved onto With Knives and Enabler. Fall Out Boy was ranked the 93rd Best Artist of the 2000–10 decade by Billboard. The band recently announced a comeback with a new single, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” off of Save Rock And Roll, and a tour.

Phillip Phillips (19 Entertainment/Interscope Records) – The Georgia-bred singer/songwriter, whose rich, raspy vocals and masterful guitar skills helped him win Season 11 of American Idol, released his debut single “Home” in May 2012. The song skyrocketed to number one on the Billboard Digital songs chart and is the most successful coronation song of any “American Idol” winner with over 3.7 million sold.  His album The World from the Side of the Moon became the fastest-selling debut from an “American Idol” winner since season seven’s David Cook released his album in 2008. Phillips’ next single will be “Gone, Gone, Gone” which is a true standout track on his album. Currently, Phillips is on a U.S. tour with Matchbox 20.

RaVaughn (Columbia Records) – By the age of four and a half, RaVaughn made her musical theater debut as Annie in “Annie” at the Lorenz Hillside Theater.  Over the years as her career in entertainment developed, RaVaughn guest starred in several television series and became an accomplished voice over artist. RaVaughn was introduced to the world of “demos” where her career began to be shaped and fine-tuned working with music moguls such as Ricky Minor, Ryan Tedder, Sam Watters, Rico Love, Kara DioGuardi, Andrew Frampton and Steve Kipner creating demos and laying background vocals for Celine Dion, Keri Hilson, Brandy, Keisha Cole, Pussy Cat Dolls, Jessica Simpson, Leona Lewis, Natasha Beddingfield, and Jennifer Hudson. RaVaughn landed gigs with Keri Hilson and Keyshia Cole and a tour with Brandy. Then, she met NE-YO who immediately saw something beyond a demo singer in her. She has combined forces with a few of music’s greatest writers, producers, and engineers. That list includes NE-YO, Stargate, Harold Lilly, Jermaine Dupree, The Underdogs, Baby Face, Chuck Harmony, Marsha Ambrosius, Crystyle, Eric Hudson, Andrea Martin, and Sauce.
