Suns’ Markieff Morris suspended one game

NEW YORK – The Phoenix Suns’ Markieff Morris has been suspended one game without pay for elbowing the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka in the face, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 6:42 remaining in the third quarter of the Suns’ 88-76 victory over the Thunder on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at US Airways Center.

Morris will be suspended for the Suns’ first 2013-14 regular season-game in which he is eligible and physically able to play.
