NBA and Quiksilver announce merchandising partnership

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – The National Basketball Association and Quiksilver today announced a multi-year merchandising partnership in which Quiksilver, the world’s leading manufacturer of surf  apparel, will create a line of NBA branded boardshorts.  The line will be available for the summer beach and surfing season and the initial collection will feature the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic.

The Quiksilver NBA mens boardshort line is now available at  Quiksilver flagship store locations nationwide, select Quiksilver retailer partners, and will be available at NBA boardshorts retail for $65 and feature Quiksilver’s “Diamond Dobby” fabric technology along with other innovative design elements from the company’s top-of-the-line boardshorts which have been created for and worn by the world’s best surfers.
