Nike named presenting partner of regular-season NBA games in Mexico City and London

LONDON AND MEXICO CITY – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Nike announced today an expansion of their existing partnership that will make the league’s new official oncourt apparel provider the presenting partner of the NBA Mexico City Games 2017 and the NBA London Game 2018.

The NBA Mexico City Games 2017 will feature the Brooklyn Nets playing regular-season games against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, Dec. 7, and against the Miami Heat on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico.  The NBA Mexico City Games 2017 culminate the 25th anniversary celebration of the first NBA game in Mexico and mark the 25th and 26th games in Mexico since 1992, the most NBA games held in any country outside the United States and Canada.

The NBA London Game 2018 will feature the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics at The O2 in London on Thursday, Jan. 11.  The game will mark the league’s eighth regular-season game in London.

In addition to being the presenting partner of the three regular-season games in London and Mexico City, Nike will receive prominent brand exposure, including event logo inclusion, oncourt and in-arena signage, along with hosting several fan activations and promotions leading up to and during the game.

The NBA Mexico City Games 2017 will be broadcast live by ESPN and Televisa in Mexico and on NBA LEAGUE PASS International.  The NBA London Game 2018 will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the UK, by the NBA’s broadcast partners across EMEA and on NBA LEAGUE PASS International.
